The Broadway 5K Run/Walk benefits Safe Harbors of the Hudson, a non-profit organization whose mission is transforming lives and building communities through housing and the arts. We believe all housing must first and foremost strive to treat all tenants with dignity and respect. It is with the Cornerstone Residence at 111 Broadway, Newburgh, New York, that we make this a reality. The Cornerstone Residence consists of 116 units of affordable housing, 12 artist lofts, artists’ work studio space and an art gallery. There is also a computer lab, library and we offer Wellness programs. The Cornerstone Residence provides safe, attractive affordable housing for formally homeless, mentally ill and low-income adults, veterans and artists.
